Salmon patties

  1,5 pounds salmon
  1 tbsp mustard
  3 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  1 egg
  0,5 tsp salt
  0,25 tsp pepper
  1 tbsp oil for frying


  1. Skin fish if needed. This is easiest done starting for the tail. First use a knife, then tug the skin with your hands towards the head. It usually comes off easily.
  2. Cut the fish into large pieces and blend using a food processor. Transfer the fish into a large bowl. Add the mustard, egg, 2 tbsp dill, salt and pepper. Mix to combine throughly.
  3. In a large pan heat the oil. Make 7 patties and fry on medium heat for 20-25 minutes, turning over twice.
  4. Sprinkle with remaining dill and serve immediately.
