Traditional pasha old-style

Ingredients

  5 pounds cottage cheese
  2 pounds sour cream
  2 eggs
  3/4 pound butter
  1 vanilla pod
  1,5 cups sugar

Instructions

  Mix all ingredients carefully, put them through the sieve. Cook, stirring frequently, until the bubbles appear.
  
  Line a pasha form with gauze, pour in the mixture and set it on a shallow pan or dish so that the extra moisture could drain. If you do not have a pasha form, use coffee filters, and set them on a colander to drain the extra moisture. This will affect the look but not the taste!
  
  Put it in a fridge for at least 12 hours.
